That was good for a laugh. I missed it the first time around. It's hard to say which is funniest, the shouting of "OBAMA" every time the name comes around, the references to somebody named "Bidden," or the complete misunderstanding of how the Electoral College works.

As someone often considered "right wing" by those on the left and "left wing" by those on the right, and somehow never centrist, I'm getting a kick out of the sheer joy of the left and the bile coming from the far right these days. The moderate right has been their usual conservative selves, but the far right... amazes me. For them, it's the end of the world as we know it. America is going to become a communist/socialist country overnight, there will be enforced political correctness, affirmative action, dogs and cats living together, scrolls opened, bowls emptied, etc etc.

While I personally am against some of the plans President Obama has proposed, and yes, they do smack of socialism, they probably won't do as much harm as the outgoing administration has done to us in the long term.

Probably.

As I said in the post linked, I'm still wary of the Obama administration, but I'm pretty sure another Republican administration like the last two would have brought a lot worse.
